 Board Director

Summary:
As a volunteer Board Director, you will play a crucial role in guiding BridgeWA’s mission to empower immigrant and refugee communities across Washington State. Board members provide strategic leadership, ensure good governance, and help advance organizational sustainability.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated commitment to immigrant and refugee rights.

Experience in nonprofit governance, leadership, or public service is a plus.

Ability to participate in quarterly board meetings (virtual or in-person).

Washington State resident preferred.

Expectations:

Attend and contribute to board meetings and strategic planning sessions.

Assist in fundraising, advocacy, and public relations.

Serve a minimum term of one year.

Act as an ambassador for BridgeWA in your community and networks.

 Programs Manager

Summary:
The Programs Manager supports the planning and coordination of BridgeWA’s educational, legal, and economic empowerment programs. This role ensures services are culturally responsive and effectively reach immigrant and refugee communities.

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Experience working in community-based nonprofits or social services.

Bilingual (English + another language commonly spoken by immigrant groups) is a plus.

Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace or project trackers.

Expectations:

Coordinate outreach and delivery of community programs.

Support partner and stakeholder communications.

Track program activities and support volunteer training.

Commit to 5–10 hours per week for at least 3 months.

 Community Engagement Coordinator

Summary:
This role focuses on building relationships with local communities, supporting outreach campaigns, and amplifying BridgeWA’s mission through social media and events.

Qualifications:

Passion for community organizing and storytelling.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Familiarity with social media platforms or grassroots campaigns.

Experience working with immigrant or multilingual populations preferred.

Expectations:

Help plan and promote events and outreach initiatives.

Represent BridgeWA at local events or online platforms.

Work with the communications team to create content or share stories.

Commit 5–8 hours per week, flexible scheduling.

Fundraising & Development Coordinator

Summary:
This volunteer helps secure resources through donor outreach, grant research, and campaign planning. You’ll play a key role in advancing our capacity to serve communities across Washington State.

Qualifications:

Excellent written and communication skills.

Experience with fundraising, donor relations, or grant writing preferred.

Organized and detail-oriented.

Passionate about social justice and equity.

Expectations:

Support donor outreach and stewardship.

Research funding opportunities and assist with proposal drafts.

Help coordinate fundraising events or campaigns.

Commit 5–10 hours per week, remote or hybrid.
